BOURNEMOUTH

This well known coastal resort is 15miles away. It has 7miles of golden sands, which have four Blue Flag awards, and two piers. It also has excellent shopping and a wide range of theatres, restaurants, night clubs and bars.

MUDEFORD

This charming fishing village situated at the entrance to Christchurch harbour is also 15miles away. The picturesque quay with its lobster pots, old fishermen's' cottages and Haven House Inn has been traditionally linked with smuggling over the centuries. Nowadays it is not only the centre of the local fishing industry, where fresh fish can be bought from the fish stall, but also a beautiful spot to sit and watch the world go by.

NEW FOREST

The popular new forest town of Brockenhurst is 23 miles away whilst Lyndhurst is only 20miles. There are many delightful walks in the New Forest but if you do not wish to drive, why not try the Ringwood Forest which is literally on our doorstep.

MOORS VALLEY COUNTRY PARK

Moors Valley Country Park is 6 miles away and covers 750 acres. There is an Adventure Play Area for older children and a special Castle and Sand Area for toddlers. There is also a narrow-gauge steam railway that will take you on a mile long journey through the park.
Heading out into the Forest there is the Play Trail with its 8 wooden play structures including the ‘Giant Ants’ Nest’, ‘Snakes and Ladders’ and the ‘Spiders Web’. There is also the opportunity to walk on the Tree Top Trail – a 200 metre wooden walkway through the tops of the trees.     

DORSET HEAVY HORSE CENTRE

The Heavy Horse Centre is situated in Verwood less than 2miles away.

CRANE VALLEY GOLF COURSE

The Golf club is less than 2 miles away and has an eighteen hole course together with a nine hole course and a driving range.
