We would certainly recommend staying at Anne and Norman's villa. Not only was Villa Margarita a lovely place, the outside  space was outstanding.  Anne and Norman were very helpful and hospitable and went above  and beyond what you would expect a host to do. Extremely welcoming and regularly put themselves out to help us. Thank you so much

“Lovely Villa in a beautiful location”

Such a lovely, well equipped, comfortable villa. A beautiful private outside space with pool, which is cleaned regularly and kep in tip top condition by Anne, the owner, Anne and Norman live nearby and are always available for help and advice if needed, lovely friendly people. The villa is a short walk from a lovely little beach, beach bar and restaurant which is ideal for a relaxing holiday. We would not hesitate to book again and would strongly recommend Villa Maria to anyone. Hopefully we will be back next year and the year after that...

“Excellent villa, lovely owners”

Beautifully kept and spacious villa, enjoyed poolside, afternoon sun overlooking the sea and the secluded bedroom terrace. Anne, the owner, is local, charmed us and gave us recommendations where to eat including an astonishingly cheap Chinese. We will return. Book this villa now!

“Fantastic villa in Benissa close to Moraira”

Super! Villa Maria is just a short stroll to a small sandy beach and the coastal pathway (very up and down but beautiful). The villa is very well equipped and the owners, Anne & Norman, are incredibly friendly and helpful -they even left goodies in the fridge for our arrival. The patio off the lounge has beautiful views of the bay, perfect for the morning cuppa and breakfast. The secluded patio at the back has the swimming pool, the bbq and the pizza oven. There are restaurants and bars within easy walking distance - the chinese is particularly good value! The villa was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It was very comfortable, the master bedroom, with an ensuite and also it’s own private balcony, had netted windows either side allowing a gentle breeze through. All in all a super home from home - I can’t wait to go back!

“Wonderful experience”

Spectacular villa and nicest of hosts. This beautiful place is well located near a lovely beach and cliff walks to Calpe - whether you want to spend your time enjoying all the facilities the villa has to offer or use this as a base to explore this lovely coastline. Cannot fault this and would recommend it to one and all.

“Fantastic location”

The beach is just a few hundred yards away and is in a well sheltered bay ideal for swimming and snorkelling. There are two beach bars which are both worth visiting and the coastal path is really beautiful. You can walk all the way to Calpe but we only went as far as Timon which has a tiny marina and an excellent bar and restaurant. The villa has everything you could possibly want and we particularly enjoyed the outside BBQ by the pool. If you want to eat out there are a vast range of restaurants within a ten minute drive. El Portet, just outside Moraira, is a fabulous place to enjoy a cold drink and watch the sunset. We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to return again soon.

"Beautiful Villa in a superb location"

Villa Maria is superbly located midway between Calpe and Moraira and just a two minute walk to the coastal pathway and the small sandy beach at Cala Abogat. There is a very friendly beach bar there which also serves snacks and the coastal pathway goes all the way to Calpe. There is a chinese restaurant a five minute walk from the villa and many excellent restaurants within a ten minute drive. The villa has several terraces which means that whether you want to be in the sun or the shade there is always somewhere to go. The terrace at the front of the villa has great sea views and is the perfect place for breakfast. The Naya by the pool has both gas and charcoal barbeques and it even has a pizza oven! The villa itself is very comfortable and incredibly well equipped and is in a very quiet location without being isolated. It was clean and well presented when we arrived and the owners, Anne and Norman, who live nearby, were very friendly and always available to sort out any minor problems. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria so much that we have already booked for next year.

"Perfect family villa!!"

Just back from a 2 week holiday with the family, and we all had a wonderful time. The villa was perfectly located with the beach just a few hundred yards away. We spent most days relaxing around the pool and enjoying the BBQ, but when the sun had cooled down we'd wander down to the beach to snorkel and enjoy a drink at the beach bar. The villa is very conveniently located between Calpe and Moraira, so we had plenty of choice for other beaches and restaurants. Moraira is a very pretty fishing town and is lively at night. Guadalest is not too far away and is definitely worth a visit. The villa had everthing you could want and comfortably catered for our family of 6. There was nothing more we could ask for! We would recommend this villa to anyone.

“A pleasant surprise"

We had never been to this area of Spain before and what a pleasant surprise. The villa is located in a great position barely 5 minutes from the sea and a beautiful little bay, snorkelling is a must, there is also a fantastic coastal path that leads all the way to Calp, which is around 3 miles, with very convenient little bays and beach bars along the way, we did the walk to Calp and back 3 times. I have been renting villas in Spain for 17 years and the villa is by far the most well catered for even an outside Paella ring and pans. Thank you Anne and Norman for a great 2 weeks.

“A great relaxing "get-a-away"

We enjoyed a wonderful week in June at Villa Maria with our two daughters and son-in-laws. The villa is secluded but not isolated and I think it is situated in one of the most picturesque areas in this part of Spain. It nestles into a lush hillside with a path leading down to the small sandy bay - takes less than a 5 minute stroll to reach the bay. There is a sea-view from the villa balcony which I particularly enjoyed first thing with a morning cup of tea. We found the villa very clean and tastefully decorated, inside and out. It contained all that we needed and much more, like home from home. We had a barbecue using the outside kitchen area and the family enjoyed cooling off in the pool. There are many areas to sun bathe. The beach bar was most enjoyable and surprisingly good considering the bay was small. They served an excellent sangria and you could even order paella. The local Chinese/Thai restaurant is within walking distance and we thought the service and food there was of a very high standard. There are several supermarkets a short drive from the villa. We had a car so was able to visit various places in the surrounding area. Moraira was our favourite. It is a small unspoilt traditional Spanish town only a 10 minute drive away. Moraira has some lovely restaurants, a beach and marina also we were fortunate to watch one of their fiestas. We met the owner Anne while we were there. She was helpful and attentive to us having all we needed. A contact number was available should we have any queries. Prior to the holiday Anne sent directions and we had no problem finding the villa. All in all, I congratulate myself on choosing Villa Maria and thank Anne for providing a truly great holiday home. I would love to go back and would definitely recommend to friends

"Nice villa and good location"

Our family stayed at the villa for 11 nights. The villa is very well taken care off, well equipped, clean, has large swimming pool, outdoor kitchen and it is 5 min walk to the local beach. Basically it has whatever is necessary to hard reset yourself in 10 days. The area is very nice and calm. It is 10 min drive to Moraira and 15 min to Calpe where you can find plenty of restaurants, awesome beaches, old spanish streets etc. For sightseers there is enough attractions to visit during a stay. I wish we had more time and certainly we would like to come there again.
